| going to be in Madagascar from May 31 - June 20... Paris from June 20 - June 24... I am nervous about this trip... will spend 2 days in the capital... 14 days building a home... 3 days in a safari...and then 5 days in beautiful Paris... a very long trip that might change my perspective on things? I am excited yet nervous... building a home will be a first... going to a place in Africa will be a first (I did watch the movie Madagascar this weekend but I don't think it prepped me much =P)... sitting in a jeep and observing animals will definitely be a first as well... and finally... hopefully I can use some of the French I learned during my 7 yrs of French classes in Paris... hope I make it back safely in a couple of weeks and enjoy the Chicago summer =) See you all in a little while... take care and God bless! | | |
| 3 yrs and 2 months is a very long time (actually it felt longer then that)... and it's finally over... i have spent 90% of my professional career at this client and now it is over... tomorrow will be a new day, a new client, a new experience... i hope i have grown a little this past 38 months... i learned a lot about myself, about people, about auditing, about stuff in general... it was truly great times... but now it is time to start a new chapter... and it's going to be in downtown too! no more driving everyday! will need to buy a metra pass and all that good stuff! a little nervous but i know at the end of the day.... it's for the better =D | | |
| my name is Adrian Aw and i have been sports center free for 3 weeks now... yes, it is amazing but work has kept me busy so haven't felt the effect too much.... plus espn.com ain't so bad... last weekend i finally transferred all my photos from my college computer to my work computer which I use personally... lots of good stuff from there... posted some pics on facebook... i went through many stages in college for sure just by looking through the pics... good times.... 1 more week to go..... =) | | |

TV is broke because this drunk poured wine all over my cable box... oh wells, he came all the way from Hawaii just to watch the Bears game (hence the 41 we are showing), I will have to forgive him, plus we balled every day the summer of 2001... and I really need a new night time hobby besides watching ESPN SC..... anyhow, been a crazy few weeks since coming back from HK... enjoying every second of it... the next 3 weeks though, I need to really concentrate on work... don't want to get a bad yearend review! Last week was Angela's farewell party, can't believe I have lived in this apartment for over 3 1/2 years now... it's been a good run! | | |
| all i can think about right now is vacation.... it's the only thing keeping me sane during busy season... NY in March (gotta visit my bros in NY and CN, of course drive the RX-7 also) Vegas in April  (Golf in Vegas! need I say more) Vietnam/Thailand in May (pending on how big tax refund is, but this would be awesome to go) Madagascar in June (cross my fingers! hope they pick me!) We will see, I will have no money after all of this but it will be all worth it.... not sure how much longer I can do these things with great friends... as a friend always says (when intoxicated)... how often can we do this sh*t together! | | |
